Good Ole Boys just Fine with Me

Location: SE Missouri | Trying to get my sister and my niece out of a bad situation in NC and back to Advance,MO. We got her a hotel room in Henderson, NC last night and I know she picked up the money I wired her for fuel in Hendersonville, NC this morning at 8:48 (CST).. I added a couple of hours because of needing to stop with Emma.. She really should have been here and we are getting worried.
I'm kinda of at a loss on what to do. She has a crappy 90's model S10, no phone (a$$hole broke it), and not the best state of mind b/c of the crazy mental abuse (at minimum) she's been dealing with.
So I guess please say a prayer!
If anyone lives close to there, please message me! I'd pay someone to do a drive by of the address to see if her truck ended up back there (and they are lying that she isn't there).. We are just worried, she left with minimal things for her and Emma and honestly it's colder than I thought it would be to be traveling with the crappy truck. It's 525 miles mostly across I40 through the Knoxville, TN area and I'm just extremely worried about the truck making the trip...
Even advice to help deal with this awful situation would be wonderful.

| If your niece is under age, you may be able to file a missing persons report earlier then you can for an adult.
I suggest calling the police and see if they can investigate.
Sending prayers for a positive outcome |

Location: SE Missouri | Thank you guys for the prayers.
We think she has made it to the Ft Campbell, KY area. She tried to call a friend of ours collect and she missed the call. I think my company phone may block collect calls! Regardless, it appears she has made it to the Ft Campbell, KY area around 6:30 and is a lot closer than she was...
UGH, praying for the rest of her trip to be safe and uneventful! Sorry to bring it on here but we are worried and the prayers are appreciated. Hopefully, my next post will let you guys know her and little miss Emma have arrived safely. |

Location: In The Snow, AZ | So glad to see she made it safely! As far as jumping the gun goes, better a little early than a little late. Your concern is warranted. Will keep your sister in my prayers as well as the rest of your family. Sounds like she's gonna need Gods strength in this situation. |

Location: SE Missouri | You guys are the best.. I completed teared up when I saw these comments this afternoon. That is what I love about our world, always there to say a prayer or lend an ear (or computer monitor, lol).
It's tough. She left with nothing beside what matters- her & Emma. Things can be replaced. The only thing that she really needed to bring and didn't was her massage therapy table. I think we might have a way to get it back here too, thanks to having an extending barrel racing family! Mom took her to get a few articles of clothes and some necessities for Emma. I haven't even got to see them b/c of work appointments just a few more hours and I can get out of here, lol.
Thank you all so much for the prayers and good thoughts. |

Location: USA | I would have been on pins and needles worrying too until they got there! Glad she is with family and SAFE! WHen you see her, give her a big hug and tell her welcome to her second chance! Prayers for her and Emma as they will still go through some rough times, but being with family will definitely make it easier.

Location: Armuchee, GA, NW section of Ga | Glad she got out. You are right, things can be replaced. I remember getting on a plane leaving California with my son and a brown paper bag. Just a few things necessary to get thru. No suitcase, just a bag with diapers and a few clothes for him. My parents paid for the tickets, and they were waiting at the airport for me to pickup. My mom and aunt was waiting at the Atlanta airport to pick us up. That was 40 years ago and my life changed for the better after that. Assure your sister family means everything.
