But, let's say you have a horse that is eligible for 2 separate futurities (for instance Future Fortunes and VGBRA, or something like that, not actual case, but to give you an idea), can you compete at both futurities provided the dates don't clash or are you limited to one or the other?

Exactly! And future fortunes is in the form of bonus moneys paid out at already different existing futurities and races for enrolled future fortunes horses. VGBRA puts their futurity on and half their added money is designated towards VGBRA stallion incentive eligable horses sired by stallions enrolled in their auction.

You will need to read the rules.

Generally you can run one futurity year, so if the one futurity is for 4 yr olds and the other is for 5 yr old, most times you can run both in your horses 4 yr old year.

Also the year starts as of December 01
