Location: Red Raiderland | Ive been in the hospital for a few days and hope to get out today! While we were in Vegas I had a horrible flare up of diverticulitis. Fun when that happens on vacay. Anyway, it perforated my colon and abscessed into my ovary tube. My hubby rushed me to Baylor Dallas Sunday night and the team of docs and nurses and everyone have been awesome. Im getting much better and they think I can go home today.
Herbie and Canchasr1 are the best buds anyone can have. They have definitely help keep my spirits up! I highly recommend being friends with them! Canchasr1 had some bbeautiful flowers sent over and Herbie sent me the cutest little Doxie in a tutu. Love you guys! |

Location: Red Raiderland | No, Jen, no get well soon cats! And the only good drugs have been ibuprofen and maybe tramadol. Now when I hadmydrain in I did hear dilodid and fentenyl??? Took care of that pain nicely! |

Jen, I am not stoned just hungry as a bear! I get to go home and see all my critters!
Herbie, you bet I get better soon because you are right we got some ridin and haulin to do! The docs are sick of me asking, "When can I start riding again?"

Oh that soup sounds so good!!! Actually, the ob/gyn area they have me in is really nice and when they messed up and sent real food it wasnt all that bad. They sent stew over for supper and it looked real good but I didnt try any because my gut wasnt feelin it.
I havent escaped this joint yet as they are STILL waiting for radiology and what to do about my annoying drain. Im getting a bit miffed! |

Hey, I didn't mean to embarass her.....what I wanted to write on the card was completely PG rated. I would have loved to see the look on her face when she was stumbling and mumbling trying to figure out how to tell me she couldn't/wouldn't write it! BLAHAHA I'm thinking with canchasr1's call following mine, the gift shop employees at that hospital were like, "Who the heck is this lady we've got in here, because her friends are very strange!" BLAHAHAHA So glad you're home and getting to cuddle with your real doggies and not the stuffed one. Get well soon, my friend! Can't wait to see you!!!! |

Location: Red Raiderland | Hey everyone!!! I am finally getting a chance to get on here and update. I am feeling REALLY good and feel like I am getting stronger every day. Friday I had to go back to the hospital to have my drain checked and found out it has to stay in another week or so, so no riding-IT'S KILLING ME not to ride. I have gotten to go to the barn and see my horses, barn dogs and kitties so that is sustaining me pretty well. I told Herbie I will live vicariously through y'all! LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!  |
