I mean there are like 3 donkeys at the end of my road and one right next door.  Who cares that the one next door is probably 73 years old....it's a donkey!  Come to Commerce!

I can't go steal you neighbor's 73 year old donkey! My sister is insane and found some pitiful looking ones. I think we're going save the donkeys. I must admit that I am eager to see if one is a decent size and quick on her feet.....

I'll get my sister to send some. She's not home at the moment. It's a fat, black, pig with a white spot on his head. He roams around the yard freely and eats dog food, horse feed and poops under her carport lol.

OK, I have a wonderful update on the pig. The pig is reportedly house broken and uses a litter box. My sister said it dumped under her carport because her kids put a sand pile under there and the pig mistook it for the litter box. She said it is house trained and is castrated. It is a nice pig. It's a pet.

Lol...Tubbs needs a new home because my sisters 6 month old American Bulldog is thinking she'd like some pork chops AND my 12 year old niece isn't playing with Tubbs like she is supposed to. I actually like Tubbs and would take him, but I honestly have enough going on and couldn't give him much time either. As pigs go, I'd say Tubbs is a pretty cool one. And, Tubbs is about a year old.

I would, also, like to add that while all of the kittens are now spoken for, I would really, really like to give someone a female cat that is 1 ish, incredibly annoying, but an excellent mouse killer. Her name is Pestilence. I would like to bring her to TX to insure that she can not find me easily. Thanks in advance, my Texas friends! :)

Tubbs enjoys attention. He is very similar to a dog. He walks around free in the yard and stays in the vicinity of you. He grunts when you scratch his back and comes running when you shake a bag of dog food. They put him in his pen at night. He does use a litter box and really has no idea he's a pig.

On a more serious note. What time are you going to be in CS and what kind of food do you want? We have a bunch of chains or a few hole in the wall type places. How big of a trailer do I need to consider parking for at eating/drinking establishment?

Jennifer I want to be serious for just a minute.  I wanted to tell you in person today....but obviously there wasn't enough time.  I could not have made it through the last two years without you and all of your encouragement.  And those FUNNY stories!  You have no idea how much your friendship means to me.  Thank you.

Herbie we all have to make plans in the future to get together.  I can't wait.  I was only disappointed in one little thing about Jennifer.  I had the idea that she was the "cat whisperer."  Let me tell you she is NOT.  She is a "scardy cat" not at all gentle with ones that are a "little" wild!

I am just now getting to read this post and it is hilarious!  You gals crack me up!  I can say that Jen may be crazy but she does raise some great cats.  My Myrtle is one cool cat.  Canchasr1 is also a great cat woman as the two little stinkers she gave me are a hoot.
If everyone gets together in the east Texas or Dallas area I better get an invite!  Herbie is absolutely right that there are some awesome BB's on here.

Oh yes, we definitely must meet this spring and summer.  Now as for Jen's "cat whispering" I have to say that I agree with Kaycee and that my GWP cap, Scrapper, is the cooooooooooolest!  So i'm gonna need the "behind the scenes" story of ol LRQHS and her wild, fraidy cat sotuation!

The two kittens were the same color....grey striped.  The male was suppose to be a love.  But she said the female acted like an idiot that morning when they were loading them and she scratched Jenn.  So her sister handed her a kitten to take to the crate and she was taking her time and talking when her sister interrupted and told her it was the female.  You would have thought Jenn was holding a hot potato she dropped her in the crate so fast!  I am still laughing.

I have to be honest. I gave Bean Counter a Louisiana Wild Cat. The female is insane. I thoroughly enjoyed leaving her in TX lol. And, when Linda says, "I dropped her in the crate," what she really meant to say was that I THREW her in the crate and ran lol. At that point, she was no longer my cat and belonged to to Jeanette :

I should, also, mention that watching Kuhlman's friend trying to get that pig out of a dog carrier was HILARIOUS!! We ended up just giving her the dog crate, because Tubbs wasn't having any of it lol. And, I egged her on a bit saying, "Lady, you wanted a pig, now get it out of that crate!! lol" and "if you don't get that pig out of that crate, you can't have him lol!" Poor lady probably thought I was crazy....which I am lol.

I would, also, like to say that Linda has a lead foot. Good luck trying to catch her dually! Thank God we didn't have the donkey's in the trailer. They would have probably gotten whip lash because we had to floor it to catch Linda!

If I wasn't going to Germany for 2 weeks this May. A road trip back south would have been on my list. Honestly I'd prefer the roadie ... I hate flying but I have no choice.

I love meeting BB's. They are all so cool and we can just sit and talk and talk and talk lol. It's never enough time.
If I wasn't going to Germany for 2 weeks this May. A road trip back south would have been on my list. Honestly I'd prefer the roadie ... I hate flying but I have no choice.

Ugh. Well, maybe next year. I'm sure you could pick up BB's all the way lol. I'd love, love, love to meet at barrel races in TX......big, small, I don't care....just to hang out and have fun.

Update on Oscar (boy) AKA cuddles and Mittens (girl) AKA Couyon (that's for the Cajun folks), they are still alive and well. As mentioned before by Linda I was a little nervous and wondered what I got myself into when we made the exchange. Jennifer's beautiful niece lovingly handed me Oscar and then Jennifer said quick open your trunk and proceeded to quarterback pass Mittens "Couyon" into my trunk. I think her niece is the cat whisperer in this family!!!!
