Movie was good, book was much better IMO. They do not have time to really develop the story in a movie unless it as a Kevin Costner 3 hour epic , LOL!!! I found myself explaining more detail to my fiancé as we watched the movie.

I really liked Unbroken, but we saw The Imitation Game today and it blew me away! It's the best movie I've seen in a long time. Another WWII movie that does a fantastic job combining military history with social history. I just cannot recommend it enough!

I managed to see both Unbroken and the Imitation Game in the past two weeks, and I'd have to agree, Imitation Game blew away as well. It was one of those I'm going to buy when it comes out on DVD. Unbroken was definitely no slouch though.
