I am going to change out the lights in my barn - I hate the floursecent lights as if its cold they dont want to turn on or flicker - what kind of lights and what watt bulbs for the stalls vs the alleyway?

I think I want some type of flush mount light

I was probably going to get them at Lowes or Home Depot

I had the same issues with my florescents until we switched out the ballasts for cold weather ballasts.  No slow response or flickering in the ensuing two years.

I didn't know they had cold weather ballasts. I'm going to check into that. Learn something new everyday!
