Location: Northern Ontario | I want to buy a new fancy tack set and I love the heritage brand and crown leathers ones but I do not want to spend that much. I want to stay Under the $200 range if possible. I like the quality of the Weaver leather sets, its good enough for me, but I don't want to go for cheaper in quality. What are the Alamo and dale rodrigez sets like? |

| I have a few Alamo sets, the quality is so, so, middle range, not high end like heritage or Luann's, but not cheap either.
The conchos I have lost a few stones over the years, but if I had ambition I could glue new stones into the setting.
They are not bad for the price and will last. |

| We ordered Alamo tack sets for awards last year and they were around $175 and were pretty nice for the money. Also you could check on Mandy's Custom Tack & More- just ordered award tack from her and she sold tack sets to me for $200 and they were GREAT!! Of course, I ordered 6 sets, so I'm sure there was some sort of discount given. |

| Try Cactus Saddlery, great quality and in your price range. I looked at Weaver at Christmas, was not impressed. |
