| So I'm high on life, really been enjoying my FIRST and only upcoming three year old. I cant believe how much he's grown! He's matured so much in such a short amount of time and I can see him molding into so a great horse. I couldn't be a more proud 'momma' if he came out running barrels. Especially since when we first started him, he was a good bit of work. But once it click, oh boy!
I would love to see pictures of your two-three year olds. My Bug aka Poco Buggy turns three in June. I just want to see in comparison how everyone eles's youngin' are sprouting! |

| I am at school and don't have a picture. My three year old went to the trainer Saturday. She is a big one--close to 16 hands. She was broke out as a two year old last April and has just had light work since. My trainer prefers pretty green so she does not have to undo any incorrect training. Will post a picture when I get home tonight. Hopefully, you will see her at a futurity near you. LOL |

you live in Tennessee? My colt needed a bit more than the normal 60 days simple because he would have been one of the harder starters that late. We haven't stated patterning him yet. We're just working on a solid foundation. This year were focusing on trails and being level headed. Later I'll ask for the go button. But he's so willing to please that I don't forsee any issues with him making a good barrel horse |

Location: NE Texas | The grey filly is a 2 YO (http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/rail+ditch2) and the brown colt is a 3 YO ( http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/scorchin+bayou). Both have been saddled and worked but neither are broke to ride yet. Anxious for spring to get here so we can get started on a consistent basis!

Location: Gainesville, TX | This is my 2-3 year old in December. I know she is officially 3 now but her actual birth day is March 11. She is broke to ride and rides beautifully already. I don't ride her super hard and she is due to start seeing the pattern in April slowly. I plan to have her ready for the 5 year old futurities.

ETA: She's just hit 14.3 finally in December. I was so happy to be out of the pony class.

I'm also glad to see everyone else's two coming three year olds are also butt high! LOL. So, here is mine...these pics were taken in October because we have had such WONDERFUL snow I can't do much until this lovely snow and ice melts. Here's mine, I know I don't have him squared up, but he'll technically be 3 in June.

Keep your protein levels were they need to be as your colt grows. You can look up what your horse needs to grow and work by looking up equine nutrient requirements. It is one of the keys in development and although there are many it is the one you need to make sure is available for growth, in my opinion.

| I'm a bad mom and don't have any updated pictures of my 2 year old Chasin Firewater filly (mostly because she's so dang hairy and butt high right now!), but here's her pedigree: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/kb+secret+firewater
She's a sweetheart to work with. She's been ponied, saddled, and ground drove. Now I'm just waiting for her to get a little bigger before we start riding her (she's about as wide as she is tall, so I guess that's a bonus!). |

Location: Tenn. | Here is my 3 year old, or should I say was... Husband had someone come by and drop a horse off the other day to be started and I guess he ended up pricing her to them. Needless to say they called later that night and said they would be bringing her home along with their horse when they pick horse back up in 60 days. But I will go ahead and post anyway, on account it is not set in stone.
