Psalm 15:1-5 Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle? who may dwell in Your holy hill? he who walks up rightly, and works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart. he who does not backbite, with his tongue, nor does evil to his neighbor, nor does he take up reproach against his friend. In whose eyes a vile person is despised, but he honors those who fear The Lord ; He who sears to his own hurt and does not change; He who does not put out his money at isiry, nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. he who does these things shall never be removed.
HEAVEN. you can spend eternity with God a place called heaven. David loved God's house because he longed to be in God's presence. A tabernacle is temporary. A hill is permanent . God wants us to dwell in His presence and in eternity.
do you love God's presence as David did? we cannot say I love You Lord, then not give our time, energy and life into His Word. Don't just read the Word. BE THE WORD! Worship should be a way of life. We are called to live upright. It does not mean perfect but blameless. We are to love our neighbor, carefully choose our friends and keep our word. God's people are generous with what God has given them.
today, take inventory of your walk with The Lord, your words, and your ways. Psalm 15 does not tell us the way to go to heaven, but rather the way people should live who are going to heaven.
For it is WITH God all things are possible
Have a very blessed Tuesday dwell with The Lord.
Father, guide my path and decisions today to being glory and honor to You. AMEN
