Ok, like many of you, I would like to help Aushlin. This has been weighing heavy on my heart and I thought that offering to help would be enough. For me, this morning, offering to help just isn’t enough. She is a good-hearted, kind, single Mom that has faced and is facing difficult times in her life. I choose not to sit with my hands in my pockets while I know a friend is suffering. I choose to do what I can to pay it forward. So, my suggestion is a tack auction. I am willing to take any tack that you have (new or used) and auction it off on my FB page. All money received will be sent to Aushlin. I don’t know where she is or the details of what really happened, but I know she can use money. I will, also, donate a breeding to El Scorcho for this. Anyone wishing to donate can send stuff to me at: Jennifer LaCombe, 304 Hwy 114, Hessmer, LA 71341. My phone number is 318-717-4776. Please, do what you can and together we can actually “do something.”

She left a cryptic post that basically said she was leaving this world. Her phone was turned off for awhile and no one could locate her. She was missing, but she was found by the sherriff in the evening. I do believe they said she was taken to a hospital.
She's going through a rough patch in her life and the people on this board are wanting to help her through it. |

Go fund me, has anyone read all the fine print, as it looks like they take a lot of the donated money not sure if the percentage is tacked on to the people donating or taken from the recepient

| Anyone should be able to look
Go to Facebook.com
Then search jennifer lacombe name click on hers and it should work.
People who are not on Facebook if wanting to bid may be able to contact jennifer via message on here or via phone and if she agrees could place a bid for you |

Gofundme takes out a percentage. You are better off setting up a fund at her bank. |

Maybe list the items up for auction? There are some AWESOME items. |

I will try again today. One of the bits I am sending is an original Trammel snaffle bit. I have hoarded it through the years and decided this would be a good thing to do with it. I bought it back in the 1970's when I was working at a Western Store. I don't know anything about this young lady and her story. But if she is going to be going through a divorce it may not be a good thing to set up accounts for her as it may be considered community property. I think what Jennifer is doing would probably be safest. |

Someone posted on here that she is not married. That's good but if he takes her to court he can still get the money if he knows she has it and the judge decides in his favor. I have had recent experience with lawyers/judges and I learned a really valuable lesson. Consider myself blessed to have had the education in case I can help someone else. I think any money someone wants sent to this young lady needs to go to Jennifer and when it is all gathered together see at what stage she is in with the SO. I would just hate to see him able to take her money that has been raised for her. If she doesn't have anything he can't get anything and after everything is said and done she can have whatever someone wants to give her. |

I'm not so sure about that, she's the only one that truly knows what she needs the money towards the most. I would hate to put it towards the bills and then she needs it to fight for custody or some crazy thing. Us mothers can live without electricity but we can't live without our children, at least in my mind-I would give up everything to keep my children. Don't know the situation so don't flame me if i'm off base!

Hi yes we should be praying for hoofs_in_motion! I hope she gets better but before we start making a fundraiser for someone that we don't know enough about or the situation, please know the child is very important in all of this and what is best for her. I know her personally and attention it's what she wanted. Perhaps her child would be better off with her father since he's not threatening to commit suicide and is much more stable. People that don't know her personally do not know this.
Do you really want to start this?????????? Don't be a troll and hide behind a new screen name. You want to talk? Don't be a pansy and hide. |

horselover101 - 2015-01-23 11:35 AM Hi yes we should be praying for hoofs_in_motion! I hope she gets better but before we start making a fundraiser for someone that we don't know enough about or the situation, please know the child is very important in all of this and what is best for her. I know her personally and attention it's what she wanted. Perhaps her child would be better off with her father since he's not threatening to harm herself and is much more stable. People that don't know her personally do not know this.
So are you the dad?
Must be! or a relative of his! |

RunningOnPaints - 2015-01-22 1:13 PM ok, so if I find something to donate I can send you a picture then mail it to you ? or hold it and ship to the winner? Thank you. I said, initially, to mail it to me, but it's up to you. I just want to make sure that the bidder receives their product as soon as it is paid for. And, yes, you can text me a picture or send it to my messages on FB with a description. My phone is 318-717-4776 if you want to text. Thank you, very much!
Jennifer I found a cute barbed wire cross that I want to donate. I'm not home right now so I can't send you a picture of it but will do so asap so we can get it on the auction. |

This thread isn't for discussing personal issues, or anything about a child. A public forum is no place for that. It's about some people doing something nice for someone they care about. That is all If you wish to discuss personal issues please take it somewhere else |

Yes, even if there is something to what was posted about Hoofs in Motion, maybe this show of caring support will help her as much as the funds raised will help her. |

and now you post under your real identity as another new one. We don't do trolls here. If you would like to continue this, feel free to message me. I'm sure the moderators will hear your story too, but it is not to be posted on a PUBLIC forum. I find it hard to believe you raised her child for 6 months too. |

| TwistedK-I'm sorry that you feel the need to do this. I have not posted anything on this thread except what you just replyed to. And for your info..I've had this account for a couple of years.
And actually I did raise her child for 6 months while I gave her a place to live. You do not know me and have no right to lash out and I'm sorry you have nothing better to do. I do not wish to be a part of this what-so-ever. But I am praying for that little girl stuck in the middle. Say whatever else you like, that's on you. Prayers to you all.

I had her laughing and it was a great sound. She knows she is loved, there are some truly amazing people on here. She is ready to face this head on. It always helps to know you have people in your corner. And that is definately true for her. We are here for her and praying for her. You go girl and know there are bunches of people here cheering her on.

You are amazing too! It is hard to keep your head above water when you feel like you are kicked in the stomach. But you have perserveered (sp?) and hung in there. You are strong and a deserving person. |

The Browning knife and the Crown C are out of the auction. I've bumped everything back up on my FB page and will post a list with high bids so far on Fallout Shelter. Actually, I'm going to ask Norma to copy and paste a list so I don't have to type it all out on my phone.
Thanks to everyone that donated and is bidding. It is greatly appreciated. I think we are making a difference :) |

Yes, but don't tell them until the 10th, because it sure has been funny watching them bid lol. |
