| Going to buy a new saddle hopefully by the end of the month. I have sat and rode my barrel prospect in a Pozzi Pro that I borrowed from a friend and really enjoyed it, deep seat, close contact, high horn, forward stirrups, etc. I am in the market for something under $2000. I also need a wide tree with 15.5 inch seat. I have had my eye on a Martha Josey Crystal Cash because it is under my max budget and from all my research is very similar to a Pozzi, but I am unable to actually sit in one unless I buy it.
Has anyone sat in both? Does anyone have any insight in how they compare in the way they sit you or fit a horse?
Or does anyone know of a tack store (online or not-online willing to ship to Des Moines, Iowa) that is willing to demo a Martha Josey Ultimate Cash saddle?
Any input is appreciated, although I have my sights set on one of these two saddles only. |

Location: South Dakota | I've never sat in a Martha Josey and they do look nice but I'm wondering if they'd have that close contact of the Pozzi. That is probably what I love most about the Pozzi. |

| I have had 2 ultimates for 20+ years and have tried many other brands but never a pozzi,,,I love my joseys I don't know about the newer ones, except you may want a 1/2 bigger, as the padding they put in the seat now makes them smaller,,,,Love the close contact!! good luck
