Tomorrow morning im going into the hospital at 7 am for a procedure called an Edg. I have had many operations done in my life but for some reason i am very scared :( please spare a prayer or two for me tomorrow. i have been in alot of pain the past couple of weeks :(

I had one a few years ago and it is no biggy. I know everyone is different but in my pharmaceutical days calling on gastroenterologists I saw lots of edg's, ercp's and colonoscopies and patients did great. You'll be in and out in no time and you wont remember a thing. Hopefully they will find a reason for your pain.

My fiance had an an upper GI AND colonoscopy procedure the same time earlier this year. I was more nervous than HE was! But...he was in and done very quickly. He was never unconscious...they were fast and efficient...and he was so cute and groggy when we went in to see him after. He doesn't remember half of what happened or the things he said to us afterwards! He does remember asking the doctor to be sure they use the scope for the upper GI first!
