There are a bunch of nice stallions out there. You will find many different responses. It really comes down to what you are wanting to improve in your mare. I have a young upcoming stallion that I believe in, but he isn't advertised. He is very quiet minded.

I feel like I post this every day and i'm sure everyone is tired of seeing my pictures, but you absolutely need to consider LRQHS's stallion El Scorcho. Through the years there have been alot of young horses come through my barn, but these two have by far been the easiest thus far.  They are very willing, very personable, and very smart.  Due to the weather and my work schedule I haven't gotten to handle them this much as I would have liked but nontheless they are the same every time I go get them out of the pasture.  I'm looking forward to spring and getting them both started!!!

I haven't had the pleasure of being around these next two stallions, but Whiteboy and TwistedK also stallions that would definitely be worth looking at, as does rockinas.  Whiteboy's stallion appears to be put together beautifully and TwistedK has posted pictures of her stallion inside of a hotel and with her kiddos, so he's obviously very good minded, and easy on the eyes to boot!  Rockinas' stallions have all made a name for themself and her program is proving to be very successful.

Honestly with any of these mentioned here, i'd say you couldn't go wrong.  El Scorcho is the only one I have had the pleasure of being around in person and/or handling colts by him, but I can absolutley say that he is just as kind as his pictures show and his babies are the exact same way!  I will attach pics of my two.  The grey filly is a 2 YO this year (

The replies you've gotten so far seem to be hitting the nail on the head with quiet stallions. With all the ones that have been mentioned, I don't think you would be going wrong. I think it will come down to what bloodline direction you are looking at going.

I've heard that Mighty Mind Bender puts a good mind on his colts. I have a really quiet, super friendly filly by Scrutinizer. I will say she has the OPPOSITE personality of her mother so I know it was the stud. I've heard most of the Scrutinizers are quiet. A lot of your more foundation bred horses are likelier to be quieter minded so long as they are not super strong bred cutting lines. Most of those are hotter.

Firewater Finale. I have a coming 2 year old by him out of a hot race bred made, he is the best minded quiet colt I've ever been around.

2 that I have personal experience with are Firewater Finale and Guys Piece Ofthe Pie. I have a yearling by the first that I love and am currently riding the latter. I have been around a lot of his babies as well and they are super quiet and gentle.

LRQHS stallion and TwistedK's stallion are on the auction page for fundraise for hoofs in motion. Check out the prayers thread. Link to the auction is on page 4.
