I have a full sized Freightliner. I'm lucky that my hubby and his family own quite a few semi's and do most of their own work on them so for me its very handy. You'll have to deal with things that you've never dealt with on a dually such as air brakes. Tires will cost a lot more but they last a lot longer. Prices on semi's are quite reasonable. Remember, on a pickup, if it has 100,000 miles its high but on a semi you can get them with 500,000 miles and be considered low miled. Catch my drift? LOL

My husband is a heavy duty mechanic and works at Peterbilt. He says it's better to buy a full sized semi over a baby freightliner. Cheaper to work on them, etc.

I have owned the small m2 business class freightliner and will never own another one. Everything is made to throw away, including the motor. With the full size trucks you can at least rebuild the motors. In addition you can buy the full size used trucks for a fraction of the price
