Late morning yesterday my boyfriends dog broke his hind leg just above the hock. He had surgery on it yesterday afternoon and they put wire in but were unable to put pins in. Are there any bone supplements you have had personal success with in the past? He's a 4 year old red lab, and my boyfriends bird dog/best friend - we are hoping he can recover fully!

Cissus Quadrangularis has been a staple of traditional Indian medicine for centuries. Researchers discovered the power of this unique herbal remedy and have now made it available to Western athletes, or anyone else who wants to support healthy muscle and bone. Cissus Quadrangularis will not only support healthy muscle and bone, but actually helps deliver nutrients to tendons. Animal Element carries it. You can give them 1 scoop twice a day to help with healing. It's a small scoop.

Look into Boneo Canine Maintenance formula. I have used it on London post her amputation to help preserve her 3 good legs and aid in the maintaining the added stress the change in weight distribution can cause. It is specifically made with the skeletal system and joints in mind and it relatively inexpensive for a great product.
I'm not sure you have access to an acuscope/myoscope specialist in your area but the hugest factor in Londons full recovery were sessions with Molly Wells who owns Equinessence. She may be able to refer you to someone in your area. The difference in recovery after a few sessions is remarkable . Here is a testimony of the miracle she did with my London ( the Pit in the video)
