A grammar nazi is at it again. I have seen expo being used as an abbreviation for exhibition. There is no p in exhibition! Expo can been used for exposition, not exhibition! The World's Fair is an expo. A barrel race has exhbs or even exb, but not expos! My rant for the day. Thank you!

I rarely run exhibitions but when I do I can assure you that it will be an exposition.

Everytime somebody interchanges exposition/exhibition or sale/sell or they're/there/their - I can hear my high school diploma cry a little.

I agree 100% There really are SO MANY I see on a regular basis. It's/its, their/there/they're, your/you're, excessive ........ and no other punctuation, sell/sale, using single quotations when you should use double, definitely/defiantly, I could care less/I couldn't care less. I could go on.

I've always called it Exhibitions and seems Expos is something newer? Or maybe northern? New owner at a local arena are now doing Expos and I have a friend from Michigan that says Expos...but I've never asked her why.  :)

There is a neighborhood around here where are the streets are named something along the lines of  -- Fox Hunt Trail, Kentucky Derby Lane, Silver Spur Lane, Grand National Boulevard..................and then BRIDAL Trail.

I moved to Oregon from Texas and here they call them "time only's" but yet, they don't time them....so screwed up! Every time I say "I'd like 2 exhibitions", they look at me like I'm crazy and have no clue what I'm asking for!

Long time ago at some Arkansas horse shows an announcer called them expeditions-and some of them were, too!
