I haven't been officially diagnosed with celiac or lupus but my blood work points in that direction because all the markers are there, just not bad enough yet. I wheeze when I eat breads, etc. and I have joint pain and inflamed last digits in my hands if I eat a lot of it. From everything I've read celiac causes an auto immune response which causes inflammation and that causes the joint pain, among other symptoms.

There MAY be a connection between Celiac disease and Lupus. Also, Celiac disease is associated with osteoporosis, which could be causing your joint pain.

I have not been tested yet and I suppose that should be my next step. I have tingling in my feet especially at night and lately it seems like every past injury I have had hurts. I had hurt my knee several years ago when a horse drove my knee on top of a barrel. Hasn't bothered me for years then when I started walking a few months back, actually last summer, it swelled and is still swelled. I've had neck and shoulder injuries, those are hurting, you name it I hurt. Also I have bouts of diarrha. I was told by my doctor to eat more fiber and I do, but sometimes it really flares up, plus I have diverticlotis (sp). I was just wondering if this could all be related to the Celiac.

Best friend is Celiac, she complains of most of the same symptoms that you have. She has graves disease as well so a lot of the time nobody is really sure what is her actual trigger. Celiac and inflammation seem to go hand in hand from what I've read trying to understand what my friend is going through so that may be true. I have rheumatoid arthritis and lupus and have a very hard time digesting gluten so I eat like I have celiac and that seems to help the overall inflammation and pain I feel.
Not sure if my rambling helped at all but there you have it! Prayers for you that you get some relief somehow
