that is too cool and I cannot think of anyone more deserving. I would love more info on the wally horse she mentioned on rfd. If anyone know his registered name that would be awesome! Go Amberly!!!

I don't mean for this to come off rude in any way, I am just purely curious.... Is she going to actually be a strong competitor? I have never really seen her make a run in person or online so I have no clue. I have seen her videos from her fb for wheelchair wednesday, huge props to someone that has enough want to keep going with something so major holding her back. I would assume if she wasn't deserving of being there she wouldn't be an exemption, but from what I know she has never proved herself like most other exemption have. I just really don't know much about her horse nor have I really seen her ride.

I would have been really surprised if she wasn't chosen. I really look forward to watching her and I think she'll have the fans on their feet and cheering for her. Way to go Amberley!

I dont know but its a race and I have seen some horses/jockeys have the runs of their lives to win something everyone thought they couldnt do... except maybe that horse/jockey.

She consistantly places well in College rodeos, I havent been following her as close as I was but even if she goes in there and walks that pattern she has WON.  She is truely an inspiration to thousands of kids and adults.

She placed in 2D at Sharon Camarillo Classic.  Her horse is huge, 17 hands, and course was small so she will be competitive.

Amberly was chosen because more people would rather watch her run than anyone else they had the option to see/vote on, including former world champions. I didn't vote, but I am excited to watch her run. If you do the math, every night at the NFR, someone gets put in the 2D - really, that's knowing how competitive those horses and riders are. Amberly is competitve, and she should and will probably get a standing ovation. Rodeo, much like Hollywood, is in the entertainment business. With that said, Amberly gets the People's Choice award. Carry on cowgirl!

Her race has already been ran by just competing. Do I honestly think she can place--probably not, but it really doesn't matter.

And, everytime I see her, I always point out to my husband and my kids - if they are around - what happens when you look at your **** phone or GPS.

Hate that it happened to her, but she sure has turned it into a positive and has set a great example.

I am excited to get to watch her run. Very happy for her! I also want to thank Busby QH for their generous donation to the Lone Survivor Foundation and Amberly's charity of choice.  on her behalf
