I hope you said yes because I really want to. I teach health science at a high school and we have competitions that test the kids skills in things like nursing skills, speaking skills, career knowledge, interviewing and about 37 other things. These hit every standard the schools in our state like , extemporaneous writing, math and science. I took 33 kids with me and 31 of the kids qualified to advance on the the state level. We had 678 kids compete today from our district. Soooo proud of them.

That says a lot about you. I believe it takes a special kind of teacher to encourage kids to learn without having to browbeat them into it. (which never works as well)

That is great. You should be very proud of those kids and yourself for the skills you have taken the time to instill in them and getting them to do something "extra".

You absolutely SHOULD brag, cavalier!!!! Very nicely done and I wish all schools had a program such as the one you teach! Congrats to you and your students and hope you have many that continue to progress through the competition!
