| I don't mean to repost a similar thread, but I'd like help deciphering my results. My mare had a lot of really subtle symptoms, so I had my vet blood test. It came back a low positive. We are up north, where he's only seen about 5 cases in his career. I purchased this mare from the south a year and a half ago.
Anyway, I learned from the threads to go to Pathogenes. We did and I called to get some understanding on the results and she talked so fast that I didn't get much out of it. They recommended Orogin, and we start treatment tonight. Here are her results:
SAG 1- 2
SAG 5- 2
SAG 6- 2
CRP- 4
Hoping the meds and supplements work, we will be retesting 10 days after treatment. In the mean time, what the heck does this mean?

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | not much, I don't think. Mine had the same SAG but was a 22 on his CRP. After calling to get a better understanding, it seems the vet there thought his inflammation score had more to do with his foot injury last spring. If I were you, I'd call pathogenes for them to explain. | |
