I wanted to PM you over the weekend but couldn't remember your screen name. Just wanted to say what a beautiful run you made at the qualifier in Glen Rose. Very nice and so smooth. Gorgeous run!

JK, what all does this clinic encompass ?
Hi Roxieanne... The clinic covers horsemanship, at whatever level you are ready for... basic to advanced... barrel work (helping to get you and your horse to be the very best you can be by addressing what you and your horse, based on individual style, need. The classes are small (this one is limited to 6 horse/rider combos). I believe that much of what we do is a mental game and we discuss that, and all it implies, during the clinic. It is faith based... because I can not talk about my successes or my failures without addressing my relationship with the Lord. He has taught me more through my relationship with horses than I have learned anywhere else.
It is like no other clinic you have ever attended. Most people ride my horses to get a "feel" of what they are working towards, and I ride all the horses at the clinic. It is difficult for me to tell someone to do something with their horse if I am not able to do it myself. It also helps when people see that their horse is capable of doing something when cued correctly. In addition, it helps me to know what the horse really needs in order to be his best. If there are holes somewhere in you or your horse's training, we will find them and work on fixing them.
To top it all off... You get to meet some amazing ladies, hear their stories, and go home feeling renewed, energized, and with lasting friendships. It is almost like a retreat/barrel clinic.
