Location: Got Lobsta? | I have a 31 year old horse that has had Cushings since he was 12. He has been doing very well, however I've noticed in the past few months he seems to be retaining fluid in his lower legs. This horse was retired at 10 and has no lameness or hoof issues. He was one Percolide than Prascend. Both medications kept him from eating and he lost almost 200 pounds. I took him off of the meds and he started eating again and now put his weight on. The lower legs with the fluid buildup worries me. He goes out about 12 hours a day, free choice hay, 1.5 pounds twice a day Nutrena Special Care, 1/2 pound twice a day of Renew Gold, Smart Pituitary Senior & Smart Digest Ultra.Any suggestions?
