So my mare has a suspected suspensory injury and will be out 6months to a year. Ill know for sure after Monday but I also know my luck so I am pre planning for the bad news lol Sooo... since she will be standing around doing nothing, she may as well cook me a baby. I will be looking to sell the foal. So what would cross good on this mare in the event that we have to go this route? Thanks!

I see that Kenny just posted a full sibling for sale of your mare! :)
Of course I'd say a Streak of Fling (They are doing well on both FG and DTF crosses)
Slick By Design, Firewaterontherocks (resale value for both)
Fiestas Got A Gun would be super interesting on your mare!!
ETA: Hope your mare has a smooth healing process! Have had a few of the exact injury and it can be frustrating making sure they are healthy.. Darn horses!

Those are good suggestions except FWOTR is booked for 2015.

If I was keeping the colt I would breed to old blood (I'm partial to it) and would go with Shawnee Bug Leo. But if you are looking for resale value I would go with ASOF. I also like Judge Cash he's best of both worlds old blood and resale value (just don't know if his resale value is as popular as ASOF)

I thought asof but also thought about blazin jetolena. I guess I'll wait and see how the vet appointment goes tomorrow to see if she is actually out for a while or it's something else, then start deciding! So frustrating.... I hate raising babies and don't do the broodmare thing at all. Blah. But if she has to be out I guess that's the good thing about a mare, she can cook me a baby!

A Streak Of Fling or Blazen Jetolena.
While both of these sires are obvious producers, they both throw small frames and fine bones. So unless the mare is super solid. I'd maybe be more geared to SBL or even the judge cash suggestions.
