Location: Kansas | Well, Tyrese didn't last very long. I had him picked as the next casualty but not on the first episode for Pete's sake. What was his obsession with the pictures of Noah's little brothers. I couldn't figure that out. I liked Dead better when I didn't have to concentrate so much.

| I thought this was a complicated episode for the first one back. I kept feeling like a little bit lost and I haven't missed a single episode. I love Tyrese, but I was needing a bit of time to reconnect to his character to really feel as sad as I should have. I too was wondering why he was so flipped out looking at those pictures? Seemed like a fun plot twist that I missed :( |

I couldn't believe that after all that he ended up dieing...
I think maybe looking at the pictures brought back memories or something... I was a bit lost also..
I was shocked that Michonne was wanting to settle down and stop somewhere... she roll is starting to change I think... |

Speaking of Daryl, we barely got to see him. There is something about the pics because Tyrese almost looked mad! Can't figure that one out! |

Location: LuluLand~along I64 Indiana | see i liked the episode.... it was a little different from some of the others. it had a softer side. they are realing from losses and a few are starting to want to find that safe place. like what they had at the prison. it will be interesting to see what they find in dc.
eta... the govenor kinda creeped me out tho... i would have rather seen herschal in the halucination scenes. |

I really liked it too. I haven't seen many people who did like it though? I thought it was a really nice way to show the people who had been lost and how dying may not be the worst thing to happen to you in the world they are in now. It also tried to give Tyrese some peace about some choices he made in the past, like when Bob told him that it happened the way it was supposed to.... I do agree with the you wanting to see Hershel or maybe his gf that Carol killed. But there are only so many dead people that can fit in one room! lol. I think the Govenor was there to show how Tyrese felt guilty about trusting him and offering to help.
Do y'all watch Talking Dead? It really gives more insight and sometimes explains things that I miss. I do have to admit that I watch the episodes more than once and I watched the marathon all week. I had to explain some things to my husband that he had forgotten, so maybe I'm a little crazy.... idk?! |

| I thought they should have had Karen show up, especially in the SUV when he was about to die. Thought it would have been fitting to for him to see her and she would say something to him about joining her. I like the episode over all. Missed a few things like the W carved on the walkers, the graffiti about wolves, then seeing dogs or wolves in the trailer for the next show. I love the show but have to agree it's kind of run it's course and now just repeating same things over and over with them never getting ahead or getting smarter about surviving. They have cars with gas when its convenient for a scene but then are stuck walking the rest of the time. They look for clothes but never change what they are wearing. They never have supplies with them but still seem well fed. They never wear protective clothing against walkers or have walker pets on leashes so they can get thru walkers unnoticed. I get, if they did all that there would be no drama or story but it does get annoying after awhile. |

I thought the same thing about them finding cars when it's convenient. They seem to go no where all the time. Find a place and make it yours, how hard can that be? |

...and I agree with you about the food. They never complain about hunger and always look well fed (with the exception of Rick). It would seem like when they came across an area with lots of homes they would immediately head for the cabinets. |

They were asked about the W and cut up walkers and the thing about the wolves on Talking Dead. He said that it would show up in later episodes. The show has a lot of foreshadowing and symbolism, which I think is interesting.
They also showed scenes from the next episode and talked about how they were having to deal with having no food, water or shelter. I do think it's strange that they made it 500 miles so easy when we weren't watching... Lol. I would like to see them find a safe place again, but really no place is safe for long. They learned that from the prison, Woodbury, Terminus and Noah's community. There are just too many crazy people.
I do think they should make some kind of protective gear for themselves though! No bare arms in the zombie apocalypse!!

| Terminus, Woodbury and the Hospital had all stayed safe from each other and anyone else. Granted, Terminus ate anyone that came there and Woodbury likely killed anyone or maybe took them in, the hospital probably took them in to be workers but they did manage; so I think it is possible for Ricks group to find a place and make it safe. Personally, if the Hospital in Atlanta can stay safe and have cars with gas, I'd be looking for a nice high rise condominium or hotel in the downtown area, clear it of Z's and set up home; find some generators, solar panels, etc. and set up a roof top garden. I would suggest a nice gated community but seeing how that went in the last episode, I'd nix that idea.

What I don't understand is why they don't just find an island in the middle of the river or a nice house boat. Problem solved. |

I agree and on a different note I think it is funny how the girls all have clean washed hair and they make Daryl look as grungy as they can The one chick with pig tails never has a hair out of place. I would like to see Daryl all cleaned up too :)

Location: Kansas | Maggie seems the most disheartened of the bunch. I always wondered why she didn't show much concern for Beth in the past but from her conversation she must have figured she was dead a long time ago.
They should have let Eugene drink the water. |

Part of the group went with Noah and the others were staying behind just in case it didn't work out. Rick had his walkie talkie talking to them while they were apart. |

Do you think he will be connected to the chopped up walkers that they saw in Noah's community? Why can't they ever just run into a normal person?? I guess there is really no normal left.....

Location: Kansas | Watching Talking Dead I almost got the feeling from the character who plays Maggie there may be a tiny light at the end of the tunnel, at least temporarily.
Maybe Aaron is that light............
