Location: Iowa | Horse Trailer for Sale: http://siouxfalls.craigslist.org/rvs/4844835310.html
Email she sent me: Hi Jessica, The horse trailer has absolutely no mechanical problems and no leaks, the interior is like new.I am letting it go for $13,000 shipping and handling included. I am selling it because my husband died and I don't need it anymore. Now it is at a warehouse in Milwaukee, WI ready to be delivered to its buyer with all the documents.Because I am not able to close the deal myself, I have chosen to use a third party company to handle the sale. This way we are both protected. Let me know if you're interested and if you have questions. Linda
*I asked for pictures and she sent some however I asked for the VIN and have not heard back yet. I cannot seem to remember that name of the scammer that everyone talked about but this kinda seems like a scan. |

Location: Oklahoma | That sounds like a scam to me! Warehouse.... delivered? (I wouldn't buy a used trailer sight unseen)... I don't deal in these kinds of things, but it sounds fishy! |

Location: Iowa | Linda Watson is her full name. Well some things are too good to be true! Like I said...I asked for the VIN number and I told her I could stop and see it because I was going to MI to look at trailers (which is true) and she has not responded. |

Location: Dubach, LA | I fell for that one. We had emailed back and forth and I was actually excited. I got concerned because I could never get a real person on the phone. My last email said, "Hey, I totally forgot my ex-brother-in-law is was transferred to the FBI office in Memphis. He has offered to come lay eyes on the trailer for me." Never heard another word. |

Location: Buffalo, TX | I see trailer scams every day...the way to easily determine if it's a scam is to ask to see the trailer...tell them you have a cousin in Soiux Falls that will come and look at it...if there's an excuse for not being able to show it to anyone (like in a warehouse)...then run...... |

Just curious... do trailers normally even stay in warehouses? It seems like everything I've been told was that it's from the plant to the dealer. |

I have had a simular scam also. Do the right thing. Report it to someone of authority. She needs to be located and put out of business. Once I had a horse listed and a guy from Nigeria wanted to send a cashiers check for more tha the correct amount and asked me to send him the change. He was in kindergarden I guess?????
