Ever since we got our first Rare Bar mare last year, we have had our eyes open for another one. We knew it would be tough because Rare Bar isn't alive anymore... but surprisingly, one popped up on BHW and she was about 2 hours from our house. We sent a deposit to hold her until we could go see her.. and we took her home! She's a 2010 Rare Bar out of a 1D daughter of Takin on the cash, and her 2nd dam won over $20k on the race track.
She is going to be my little sister's first project to bring one up herself.. although, I am going to be CLOSELY supervising!

Yep, that is my little sister.. who is 4 inches taller than me. Ha. She is very excited. I am going to help her along the way but she's going to do most of the work with her. So far she came to us with a good handle and trotting the barrels nicely.
