Who has used it to cure ulcers? Does it cure ulcers? 3000mg three times daily? Vet recommended this as a cost effective alternative to gasto gard. Just was wanting some experiences.
I have not tried to cure with it. I did read in one of the vet books at work that it can be used to treat ulcers given at 6.6mg/kg body weight every 8 hours. So yes, 3000mg 3X daily. I did give it to my mare this weekend for a barrel race but I did not give it like I was supposed to because I forgot so I'll have to give it a try again next time and see what happens.
