So why can some of us not watch live feeds like the American Semi finals with out it freezing up every few seconds while some have no trouble? Is it our internet provider? Our computer? Settings in the computer? Is it the live feed people? What?
I'm not computer savy at all and I would really like to fix this issue with some live feeds. I've been completely frustrated this morning trying to watch the American Barrels. My feed was great until just before it started then I lost it all together. Then it came on and was decent until about horse number 40 (of course as I really wanted to see rider 42). And since then has been freezing up every 5 seconds. Haven't seen once complete run.
Anyone out there know where I start to solve this problem for future.

I have no answers to your questions. Sorry. Mine wasn't working at all until about run #16. Then it started working pretty decent. It's hung up some, especially in the last 25-30 runs. Here's a link to a google docs spreadsheet someone is keeping updated with all the times..... https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1jbNM8nUdtNCIX0-o_RGnOKBuAGfVlVhZil5axYwiVd0/edit?pli=1#gid=1254090548
I'm not very computer savy either. I don't know why but I turned my computer on about run 50 and watched it until they all ran. Didn't do anything special.
Mine worked fine. I would "guess" that it could be your internet provider (depending on the speed you receive your signal)....but I'm not an expert......lol
Internet signal strength and how many people are watching would affect it. Sometimes it's just weird though. Youtube wasn't working at work last night for no reason. Anyone know where to watch American stuff? I kmow I missed some this morning.
The best thing you can do is go to the web page of your browser and check to see if any of your plug-ins need to be updated. If everything is up to date then it is prolly your provider.
Defrag your computer and check your start up processes. Make sure its not too overloaded because this can slow down anything on your computer (especially high volume memory stuff like streaming). Google how to do these.
Then check to make sure your flash plugin, java, whatever the race platform is running on is updated (as mentioned above). You may want to also try different browsers like Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
If its not any of the above its your internet service provider or traffic on the site. You will probably have to pay more money for more speed or just chalk it up to traffic.
I saw a post somewhere earlier... think was on FB... that there was a server crash early on, but were able to get things going. Also was stated that at one time there was 5500 people watching.
