Long shank Cervi, small twist if you need it. Sometimes even the weight of the short shank is enough. |

Great minds think alike!! I sometimes run T-Bo in this exact bit, the long shank small twist. He will get really free with me sometimes and this bit allows me to not change my hand positioning and have a little more "Hello, time to turn!" |

Yes, that is the regular twist. It comes in a tiny twist, too.

Location: California | I really like the Martha Josey Million Dollar Bit. The bit is broken in 2 places, the outer two pieces are twisted wire. Also I love the rope noseband. The shank isn't super long to ruin turning ability.
I use it on my mare that has a hard mouth, but a hard mouth that only gets worse when I use a "mean" bit. This is where the noseband helps. She's the type to run straight & I wasn't able to break her to turn... this bit is my lifesaver.

| I use a long shank Cervi, twisted wire broken mouthpiece on my horse like this. He never runs by a barrel, but he needs extra help standing up.
Anyone try the new Cervi bit yet, with the locked mouthpiece??! |
