I like the ol girl. Shes a real sweetheart. Ran on the track. I think 2 of her foals have went to the track. Now my dilemma...
She came with a breeding to www.allbreedpedigree.com/orphan+perry Ive seen 2 babies out of this cross and they are nice. Not terribly big but built like tanks.
HOWEVER
I have a breeding to Aint Seen Nothing Yet that I wont be able to use on the mare that I booked. Long story but she may be carrying her last foal. Time will tell.
Which would give me a better resale value on the baby? I also talked to Jennifer about breeding her to Scorcho. But I've not decided. HELP me make up my mind. Or give me ideas for other stallions that might cross best with her.

Location: Where I am happiest | Aint Seen Nothin Yet. He's very well bred, and he's being promoted and put into the incentives. Those incentives are very important. Alot of people arent interested if they arent eligable for any incentives. Plus they give year round advertising and name recognition is everything.

That's what I was thinking. I really wanted him crossed on my FWF X Reckless Dash mare but I don't think that's going to be an option.

I love him to and he has a pedigree to die for. If he was in the incentives like future fortunes, PESI, VGBRA, ect. I breed to him in a flat new york minute. But he's not, so it keeps his foals less valuable, less advertised, less earning power, less name recognition, so a much less market. Thats just the reality. Especially if your thinking any kind of resell. Now if your breeding for yourself to ride, keep, and barrel race later yourself and dont care about futurities at all, or bonus moneys from the incentives, then thats a different ball game.

I think ASNY is a great choice and since you have the breeding, I think you should go to him.......I'd, also, grab Streaking Ta Fame while and if he is still in reach.
That said, I don't have enough El Scorcho's to sell. There is a waiting list for his foals. His stud fee, also, reflects his lack of incentives. For me to afford incentives, I'd have to charge a bit more for his stud fee. His foals with me have been easy to sell and at a good price.

I also really love your horse!! Many of the inentives you just donate a breeding. Thats no upfront money, gets more foals out there all across the country and gives you year round advertising. Get him in those asap. Look at PESI, Triple Crown 100, and the new BBR. Future Fortunes, there is a waiting list and I think the wait is about 2 years. I would get him on that list asap. By then, he will have a few more foals out there and more name recognition and his foals will be worth more money. Raise his fee next year to $1200. He's worth it and has the pedigree to warrent it.

| If it's the last foal this mare could have and you were looking at resale value I'd personally go with someone big since you may not get another foal out of her. Slick By Design, Judge Cash, Frenchman Fabulous, Frenchmans Guy (if in budget) | |

| FG is probably booked, don't know that for a fact but his book usually fills quick. I sent my contract back in October. | |

Location: Vinton, La. | Besides the ones mentioned above and the others I told you about earlier, I'd also look at Red's Western Native, the gray that Hart Farms has-I think it's Firewater Canyon, Stoli, and Triple Vodka. All are FF except the gray.
