Location: Texas | I forgot if they test it in office or if they have to send it away to have it tested? I'm sure I can discuss this with my vet but i'm just wondering how long it usually takes from when they draw the blood to when you get the papers in your hand. I thought same day but im second guessing myself! |

| Depends on the vet. Some can do it right there on the place and some can't. The only way to know is to ask them. |

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | I have a vet in SD an hour away that can do them in an hour. WY vets are not allowed to spin their own blood so they are sent to the state vet lab in Laramie. Which is a whopping 5ish hr drive from me. So if I have to go to the town an hour south of me and am not in any hurry and it is summer, I will go that route and hope to have it back in 5 business days. The problem with mailing it to Laramie is in WY it can get a might bit cold and if the blood freezes in route, you are SOL. Like right now it is -10 with the windchill. No bueno for blood in the back of a mail truck. |

Location: Memphis, TN | At my vet they usually get the results back in 24-48 hours and then another day or two for it to come in the mail. I always have them e-mail me a copy and they get that to me as soon as it is back to them. |

Yep, we have one vet here in Oklahoma that you can get in an hour. Otherwise, 2-3 days. |
