Did anyone catch Dateline tonight? We watched it and can not believe the evil/crazy that lived right up the road from us!!!  I watch our local news a lot but they never really told us the extent of crazy that is the wife(exwife-whatever!) of Eric Williams! Sick, sick, sick individuals!  I feel so sick for the victims and their families and friends.

From what I have read, she helped plan the murders and was in the car waiting for him to do the killing.

It wasn't just that she helped plan the murders but she had zero remorse as she told the story on the stand. She seemed almost elated telling the stories. Chilling!  They even went to her parents house and cooked steaks just hours after killing Hasse.    Also, what was up with her teeth or lack of teeth?  She has meth mouth.

Kaycee that is just proof the crazy people can live anywhere.  Very scary.  I had watched another program about this (can't remember what it was on) but this one on Dateline was much better.  I just can't believe what goes on none of know about.

Did you see that his defense attorney's are trying to get him off by saying he had brain injuries. That parts of his brain that are used to make judgements are injured...
Really???

I'm so disappointed that I missed this.  We were watching 20/20 thinking the Chris Kyle jury was going to be interviewed but that show will be aired at a later day.  Wonder if there is anywhere to go watch this Dateline episode again?

In his defense . . . sometimes you have to go with the only thing your client will give you to work with.  If they won't plead guilty or admit to guilt, trial is your only option.  We can't make them think rationally or give us a good story that makes things more plausible.  You can't fix stupid sometimes and unfortunately, sometimes you have to represent them through it as best you can.

SHR, the crazy is definitely among all of us.  Kaufman is such a small town that it is sad he, Eric Williams, wasn't sniffed out sooner.  The D.A. pegged him right from the start for Hasse's murder.

All I thought was, "I wish I could give him a REAL brain injury!"  He was so smug when he sat there in the courtroom.  Evil, evil man!

Herbie, I am terrible at Netflix and such but I'll bet there is a way to watch it.  I always here people talk about how they are watching something later on there computers or phones.  I just have no clue how they do it.

He has already been through trial and found guilty.
This is happening post trial...
He planned three murders and hid evidence all over several counties.
These were premeditated , intricately planned murders from someone who supposedly has brain injuries.
All because he was caught doing something illegal....

I watched this all unfold on our local news.  It seems Williams didn't expect to be prosecuted for stealing the computer monitors and was surprised when the county threw the book at him. After being convicted of that crime, he lost his JP position and eventually was disbarred.  And then the revenge started.

Which brings up the idea to me, that the DA either didn't like the guy, he had a history of dishonesty, or they wanted to use him as an example.  I would've expected the "good old boy" slap on the wrist in a small town like this.

That's what makes me sick is that the DA had him pegged from the beginning and yet he and his wife lost their lives.  This is so sad.  Since I have moved to Huntsville I have had people ask me if I am afraid to be living by all these prisons.  Well no.  You are proof there really isn't a safe place to live.  "They live amongst us every where".

The judge denied the motion. He's going back to death row.
