I bought a PHT blanket (used) and it doesnt seem to fit my horse well, or I dont think it does anyway. When its laid flat on her skin, it sems to sit to low on her shoulders. if I put the neck where I think it should sit, it tents up at her withers. Its almost like the neck opening is to big? Or is this just how they fit? Give me a few minutes and I will post pics if I can get them off my phone.

My guy has been wearing his 24/7 and I did have to get a shoulder guard for him. It does sit a bit low and the mesh was pulling hair through and breaking it off. Not a problem in the summer when he's just wearing it in the stall overnight, but 24/7 it was rubbing a bit.

Sometimes depending on shape of horse you need to put a pleat in the binding. I have a young mare that wears an 82" But the neck is big so I stitched a pleat in each side about 1/2"

edited to add for those following this post. The Blanket was one of our older white open front blankets. This was one of the issues with this particular style As always please measure your horse prior to ordering
