Psalm 40:1 I waited patiently for The Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry.
8 I delight to do Your will, O God, and Your law is within my heart.
Prayer requires humility and patience. Because of his patience and passion, God listened to his cry and lifted him out of miry clay. Have you ever tried to climb up a hill after long rain? Your feet probably kept slipping out from under you, and every two steps forward you slipped one back. GOOD NEWS! The same God who hears you will also help you get on solid ground!
We have to take our eyes off our difficult situations and focus on Jesus. Determine to do His work, declare to others His Word, and delight to do His will. if we do, The Lord will place music in our heart and a song in our mouth. Just as God rescued Joseph from his pit, He will bring us out of ours.
Father, guide us today to do all things that bring glory and honor to You AMEN
For it is with God all things are possible
