Location: Tex. Panhandle | I know it's been asked about sire lines. However, after listening to Jolene on Racer's Edge last night, I want to know you favorite mare lines that have produced (or continue to produce) winners in the barrel pen! Bugs Alive in 75 and his son Blushing Bug is a favorite of mine. |

Location: Texas | These are our mares so I am partial to their lines: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/reckless+lucy First because her dam is Leavem Lucille who produced Levin Lucille and Lucy Lucille Second because she's a daughter of Reckless Dash on top crossed on a daughter of BA75, which makes her a granddaughter of both DFC and BA75 which is hard to find http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/ms+rare+buds I like how Strawflyin Buds goes back to Tinys Gay. I also like her bottomside. Her 2nd dam Bunnys Fortune was pretty sweet and so was her 3rd dam Pasamontes Bunny. I also like how she goes back to Bunny Bid even though it's a bit back. Can't argue with her dam being by Rare Form either. I like to see him on the bottomside of a pedigree. http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/ole+rare+hope Don't find many mares who are out of daughters of The Ole Man anymore. and I love Rare Bar. http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/miracles+stillhappen our other Rare Bar. I love the Takin On The Cash on the bottom http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/bright+miles I absolutely love Stoli, one of my favorite lines. Her first dam Shiney Miles was stakes placed and produced stakes winners. is the dam to Rare News http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/doc+o+flits+honor I like her because shes a Jet Of Honor daughter, and she is bred in the likeness of Blazin Jetolena but switched with the Doc O Lena on the bottom and the JOH on top. |

Great line. Similarly bred to Tinys Gay with the Anchor Watch, Clabber and Three Bars. The combination produced fast good minded horses. However Timeto Thinkrich also had the amazingly fast TB sire line of Intent. Who added speed that carried through several generations and a great mind to go with it, on top of an already amazing mix. |

Location: Weatherford, TX | I think Timeto Thinkrich adds a tremendous amount of common and barrel sense to a colt/horse. I think it also adds a lot of grit and heart to the overall bloodline. Leslie Willis has had several futurity colts (which went on to be great open horses as well) with Timeto Thinkrich in their bloodline. I have a 16YO by DTF out of an own daughter of Moon Lark/Timeto Thinkrich. I would take 10 more of that combination. He was and still is a great futurity/derby/open horse.
Also, I think it adds a lot to conformation.... I've never seen a bad looking one. Master Hand is also another older bloodline that works really well too...Great looking and a lot of sense and try.

| I agree with BA75. I have raised several out of The Signature mares and really like them so far, but they are all still pretty young. In the future I'm hoping to make producers out of my daughters of Letta Hank Do It and Rare Bar.
I don't think anyone can argue with Dash Ta Fame, Bully Bullion, Shawne Bug, Frenchmans Guy, etc. |

I'm a broken record, but I love the LHDI line. Look at what Jackie's Princess mare has produced. I think we've yet to see the full potential of this line. I think LHDI is set up to be a killer broodmare sire. |

 Can You Hear Me Now?
Location: When you hit the middle of nowhere .. Keep driving | I love my holland ease o/o a Strawfly special/ marridoc mare. It's basically every horse I want wrapped into one.
My givemealicken grand daughters have been so good to me too. I have started hoarding any I can find.
My reckless dash/ Sb mare I am over the moon excited about.
I want a steakin six or on a high daughter bad. Even better if I find one with both in the pedigree. |

| Broodmare sires: Streakin Six, Streakin La Jolla, Sixarun, Chicks Beduino, Separatist, Raise a Secret, Strawfly Special, Mr Jess Perry, Corona Cartel, and in Tbs I'm partial to Meadowlake, Hennessey, and Unbridled's Song.
Actual mare lines...the only old school blue hen mares I've really loved have been Flicka and Cherry Lake.
I place a whole lot more weight on what the mare and her dam have produced than I do on the broodmare sire.

Location: Peg-Leg Julia Grimm | When it comes to mare pedigrees, I'm not really that focused on a few lines. There are many lines of horses that cross well to make a barrel horse. But the most common sire line in my mares is DFC. Half my mares have at least one cross. The second most common is Easy Jet. I have mares that have the following sires as sires or paternal grandsires: (2) each FG, FWF, Captain Biankus, Judge Cash and a PSB. I just bought a daughter of Brookstone bay o/o a daughter of Special Leader with Easy Jet and Go Man Go on the bottom three dams. One of my mares has Raise Your Glass 2x. 2 With Bully Bullion on top. DTF, Rare Form, BA75, Easily Smashed, Duck Dance, Wranglers Ridge, Rebel Cause (3), Dashing Val, Rebs Policy, Tiny Charger, Juno Dat Cash are the biggest names. ETA: I forgot FDD as a maternal grandsire on one.
I have a mare bred to OAG with another one to breed this year. I am breeding to Tres Fortunes this year and my stallion is JOH and Pa Jones. Lots of diversity.
