Just found out my horse has a deep digital flexor tendon tear, I'm looking to buy an ultrasound therapy machine... Not really wanting to spend $1200 on UltraOz but if it really is "the best" and works well I will. Anyone have any previous experience? Or recommendations of a certain machine that worked for them?...?

I don't know the answer to this... But my horse was diagnosed with a SFDF tear in December and I looked at those, microcurrent therapy, lasers, and theraplate... I luckily had a friend that loaned me a plate and one that loaned me a respond 2400 XL.. I was told she wqouldnt be running for about a year... I took her back for a recheck after using the laser and plate and they think I will be running this summer she had healed so much.. so those are options as well.. my vet didn't seem to be a fan of the ultrasound but I have heard good things about them from some people..
