Funds availability is when we delay the availability of funds for 21 days. This is a common industry practice that we implement to ensure a safe environment for buyers and sellers. Because you have a limited buying or selling history with PayPal, payments you receive from buyers will be held in your pending balance and temporarily unavailable. This money will be moved to your available balance and released to you in 21 days (as long as there are no problems with your orders).
I have an email saying the payment was recieved but no where in my account can I find that the money was sent to me, but I do have this notification... That seems like a long time to have to wait for my money?

Same thing happened to me when I sold a saddle. As soon as I uploaded the shipping information and the seller received the saddle along with stating the saddle she received was in the condition described, the funds were released a few days later.

Yup, I've had it happen plenty of times before when selling queen clothes, especially right after I opened my account. The way I understood it is that PayPal is basically playing the middle man - they have received the funds from the buyer, but are holding them to make sure there's no issue with the transaction before releasing them to the seller.
