I agree with SG, none of my horses care which except for one horse and he does prefer fleece. I have also noticed when there is a lot of static electricity in the air that the 5 Star pad I have seems to cause no shock, whereas the other wool felt pads do.

to run in I like felt, it feels "tighter" around the turns on the ones that turn hard, but for everyday riding my horses prefer fleece.
