Location: Kansas | Soooo I just jumped on allbreed to look up something on my mare's lineage aaaand I noticed my mare's great-grandsire at some point changed from Mr Baron Red to Dash For Cash. It's not correct, but I'm going to pretend like it is... maybe it'll make her faster!!! |

| That is the problem with allbreed. But it is still valuable enough to me that I pay for a subscription, even though I know most people don't. |

| My whole horse disappeared. I had to put him back on there. |

Location: Montana | On my old mare, one time her dam changed from AQHA Appendix to Morgan or something...after I had done an awful lot of work looking up pedigrees and racing and things like that, so I had to do it again. |

| How does a horse become searchable on allbreed? I have some horses that I can find on there, some I cannot. I am not making typos. |

Just because you aren't making the typo, doesn't mean the "person" that put the pedigree on there typed it right to begin with!!!!! lol |

Location: Kansas | I've owned this horse since she was a baby and I put her on there. Up until this last time I looked her up, everything had been correct. So I guess someone got on there and edited the grandsire's info. |

I check mine periodically to make sure they are correct!

Ahh so the horses that are on there are manually put in by owners? I thought maybe they pulled info from the different associations. That explains a lot |

I don't know who puts some of them in, but I put my horses in, bc I wanted to see further back than their papers read!!

Location: Peg-Leg Julia Grimm | Allbreed is only as good as the last person that edited or added a pedigree. I try to have an AQHA printout or papers in front of me when I add a new horse.
The only other thing I have to say about this is PEOPLE! PLEASE SPELL the names correctly! I can't tell you how many times the same horse is entered with a different (wrong) spelling and then has offspring entered. It's a mess to fix. |

Location: Peg-Leg Julia Grimm | When you add a horse, you may have to pick from several horses if they all have the same name. If you don't pick the right horse it changes every horse behind that to the one you picked, right or wrong. |
