Does anyone run in all black tack anymore? Anyone have any pics? I see a lot of cute tack sets on clearance all the time because they are dyed black or almost black. Anyone know of any saddle makers who offer a black barrel saddle? Does the dye transfer to your jeans when you ride?
Very curious. I know way back we had black tack or white tack for parades and grand entries... Just curious

If you custom a saddle I'm sure you could have a black one made. Had a friend that had a saddle made and she had it done in black and was so pretty and the dye never rubbed off, just make sure the saddle maker seals the saddle so the the dye wont rub off.

Some companies will do black if you custom order it. Unless they f up horribly the dye won't transfer. Think about it, 99% of dressage saddles are black, and they ride with white breeches! I LOVE black. I wasn't able to custom order my Meleta, but I got it in natural so I'm trying to see about having it dyed black. I have a neat black breast collar, just need a headstall.

I'm wanting to order my girl a custom black saddle when she's done growing. She's black. I think it would look super sharp on a white pad cover. I may even have the pad cover embroidered. I have some friends who do that. I want to have a black custom set of breastcollar and reins with white piping on the outside and turquoise in the middle (maybe some nice conchos). I think the white contrast directly against her coat with the black base color and then turquoise accents are going to be great. Plan to pair with turquoise SMBs and bell boots. Love their new glitter patterns.
