Location: Oklahoma | Which you do like better and why? Or is it even worth the difference?I have a brand new pair that I bought in Vegas...they're white and will most likely be kept indoors with my nice tack set to keep them looking white! I'm wanting to get a pair for everyday use. |

| I like the thickness and the weight of the 9 strand. I have quite small hands but they still work nicely for me. Her reins are awesome |

| I have the 9 but wish I had the 7 because I don't use snaps on my reins so the nine don't fit all my bit rings. |

Location: Oklahoma | Very interesting. I'm not sure what strand count mine are, but I managed to get them on my bit w/out snaps... but it was a very, very tight fit.
Has anyone succesfully gotten 9 strands on a bit w/out snaps? |

Location: WI | I have the 9 strand and use straps. Also, they are white and I remove all the hardware and throw them in the washing machine and they come out brand new looking. |

| My running bit has all rings for the reins but I hadn't thought about slobber straps! Thanks for the idea! |

Here's a picture I just took of my white ones... Yes, boring color I know... But I have a black horse and I'm hoping it pops!! Anyone care to tell me if I have 7 or 9 strands? I've counted, but my counter must be off because I keep counting 8!! |

I think those are 9 but I may be wrong! They are the same number of strands as mine though. I have a really pretty green pair on one of my headstalls and I love them. |

Location: up to my waist in you know what | Are these 9 stranded ones a little heavier than the typical nylon reins? I love the thick ones that are a little on the heavier side. |

Location: Tex. Panhandle | I have 2 pair of 9 strand and i LOVE them. I use snaps and they were a tight fight, but we got the snaps on. Mine are turquoise, purple and orange and my other set is black, red and silver. My turquoise ones need washed so I might try washing them. I really do love them. Wish i had a pair on all my bridles. I ordered from Gale herself. Look her up on FB. She was great and got them out really quick |
