Extreme Veteran Posts: 492	I just started feeding Hay-Rite cubes. I love the idea of them and it's so nice to have a consistent supply of alfalfa since it's hard to find good quality alfalfa hay that's affordable down here in Texas. Three out of my four horses are eating them great, but I have one stubborn gelding that is turning his nose up at them. I tried soaking them a little last night, but no luck. Please share any ideas on how to get him to eat them!!

Playing the Waiting Game Posts: 2304	I'd soak them for all the horses to keep them from choking. With the fussy one soak a handful of them and mix with his feed once he is used to the taste you shouldn't need to mix it with the feed.
