I have recently purchased a 3 yr old gelding. I absolutely love him to death, but there is one problem... his pasterns are a little longer than I would like! Please let me know if there is anything I could do to help him out! Thanks

You can't change him, my only suggestion is always make sure he is in condition before doing anything. That goes with any horse and perfect or not, horses seem to have issues. Some of the worst made horses are world champions and some of the best made are lame. I wouldn't let it worry you.

My mare has the same problem!!! She ended up chipping both seismoids!! You have to keep him stood up or you will have problems later on!! You can pm me if you like! But I dang sure wish someone would have told me this same thing 5 years ago!! The vet thinks she wouldn't have chipped them if I had had her stood up the entire time!!
