Has anyone used or does anyone use these and what are your opinions?

I bought one and VERY expensive.... Got off my horse and when I went to get back on it rolled completely to the side.

Curious if anyone else had this problem?

I use csi pads on all my horses including my mutton wither horse, and never had the problem, and I ride with a lose cinch.

I would look at saddle fit

You either have the wrong thickness of insert, or your saddle doesn't fit properly.

I have all the thicknesses, but generally use the 1/2 or 3/4 thick inserts.

I fired everything else but my CSI pads. I have three. I've never had one move. Are you sure you adjusted it properly?

It needs to be forward towards the shoulder more than other pads to allow the flex plate to function, then tented into the gullet as high as you can get it.

I am going to try it with another saddle. Maybe I did not have it forward enough on top of a saddle that I did not think was fitting correctly.

Get on the CSI website, it will have instructions and pictures. Not complicated to place one correctly when you know what to look for.

My cousin got one at an expo, the owner was very accommodating and a lot of help -great to work with. If it's not working, I'd contact the company for ideas. They had an awesome return policy too.

The only problem I have is that the shortest pad is too long for all mine and create rubbing marks. Also the sweat marks have changed since using the pad it's hard to evaluate the fit on my saddle I like to look at sweat marks after I ride and the csi leaves more dry spots where the plates are but that could just be me

I know my saddles do not fit my horses quite as good as they should, however, the CSI makes my horses comfortable!  I like the 3/4 since I rope and run barrels, it gives my heel horse a little more relief IMO.  This is the first pad I've truely fallen in love with.

I just got one in the 1/2" thickness. I've only ridden it twice but so far I really like it! The videos on the website are really helpful, they actually helped convince me to try one. I haven't made a run in it yet but with riding my horse seems comfortable and sweat patterns seem even with it. I tented it up into the gullet and didn't have any rolling issues on my horse with low withers. Fingers crossed that it keeps on doing well and keeping my boy comfy.
