| So I've been wondering ever since duck dynasty. How do you cook and eat a crawfish. We have crawdads here...is that the same thing? |

You don't have crawfish like we do, buddy. My brother has stocked ponds and he feeds them :) I will have to make a night crawfish run, but I guarantee some quality crawdaddy's :)
We boil them with delicious spices, corn, and potatoes. Num, num, num :) |

I think I could match you pound for pound lol, but that would be an ungodly amount of crawfish, soooo let's say 3 pounds per bale lol. |

We have a huge boil on or around July 4th every year and you're more than welcome to come. They are really big by then. Since you're from Louisiana, I'll trade you a crawfish dinner for beer :) |

No, they don't taste like crab. They have their own taste. They are very good. I think they taste like shrimp more than anything else. |

ANYONE?
In Missouri in a good year we get 3 cuttings. Late May, early July and late August. Then we have some growth for pasture over the winter for whatever you want to put on it, or leave it open for the deer. Makes for good hunting. OR you can try for a 4th cutting if you get enough rain in Aug and Sept. (Normally we don't) |

I like fried shrimp and I like crab...I'm not at all a fan of salmon or trout, and not really a fan of lobster even. In your defense, I don't think I've ever eaten crawfish.
But I'm paying just under $7 a bail for grass alfalfa mix (50/50 or 60/40), but I'm buying it by the ton. Around here you can usually purchase 1st cutting hay around the 4th of July. 2nd cutting is available for purchase usually by 1st to mid September. Around here it usually doesn't stay warm enough or moist enough to get more than 2 cuttings.

We eat pecans! Last time we were in Kansas we loaded up on pecans because they cost half as much as they do here! If we were doing pound for pound, I think I'd need about 300 pounds of pecans for 300 pounds of hay, LOL. |

Admission is 10 bales of alfalfa for all you can eat crawfish Too high of a price for crawfish...for me. But I'm with those who isn't a fan of seafood.
You haven't lived until you have sucked a head.
Uh...was that an accidental post. lol |
