Location: Oklahoma | Many of you answered questions, showed me pictures, gave me suggestions and helped me nail down exactly what I wanted for my saddle.... I am eternally grateful!!
Well, it just arrived!!!
I do wish that it could have gotten the copper flower nailheads (I'm pretty sure I got silver ones), but I have a sound horse and a saddle that fits him... I'm not going to complain too much!!!!

It's a Double J Pozzi. Sold my Martin, worked a few odds and ends for extra cash, put back all I could from my paychecks and then my husband told me to get exactly what I wanted and it would be my Christmas gift.... I'm extrememly blessed! |

That's the worst part... I won't have my gelding back for another week and a half or so. If he wasn't three hours away I'd go take it for a spin. I keep telling myself that it's doing him more good to be there than just at home with me walking around the pasture... but it's hard!! |

I didn't think it was going to be so full on... next time I'd definetly have them not go as extreme, but I know it will grow on me! Yours is out of this world gorgeous!! |

Thank you! I hope you get to ride in it soon! I love how mine rides. I like the vintage look. You could probably oil it to make the contrast not so vivid |

I started a Pinterest board back in September when I found out what tree would fit him.... I pinned every saddle that had anything that I thought I liked and I wrote down each detail I liked about each one and then combined it all into one saddle and orded the beginning of February... I probably spent more time obsessing over every little detail on this more than my wedding |

Beautiful! I love the buckstitching and almost went with it, but did the nailheads/dots at the last minute! Is that a 28" 5Star under it? |

Location: Alberta, Canada | That is pretty much my dream double j right there. Mine custom ordered one is similar but all rough out with white buckstitch. I had a budget and couldnt afford tooling at the time lol. I do love the simplicity tho ;) |

I sent him to Oklahoma Equine Hospital... It was a nice place! Now I'm sick to my stomach because it's not too far south of Moore which had a small tornado earlier today. |

| Yes! It's a 3/4". I was having problems getting a pad to fit perfectly under the saddle - the mare i got the saddle from is very sensitive, will pin her ears if you even put the wrong pad or saddle on her back - and when i bought the 5 star and used it with this saddle i think i could hear her telling me thank you! These two products go hand in hand together in my opinion! |

Thanks!! I have a 28" 1" thick, but I know I will probably order another 1/2" or 3/4" once I decide on the wear leathers! And pad color. I originally wanted natural, but now I'm torn between that and black! |
