So i got to thinking, after spending over $14,000 a year for daycare for my twins... what if there were daycares/preschools out there that taught primarily about the two greatest things about life... God and horses!!! They would learn the colors of horses before the colors of the rainbow, horse nutrition before human nutrition, hores muscles/bones before human, etc. We could create some little horse geniuses!! Of course all of the other stuff is important but this would give them a jump start on horse smarts lol can you tell i'm bored at work and day dreaming

Daycare and preschool are BIG money makers!!! Even home daycare! The lady acroos the street from me keeps multiple children! She even has some kids walk over from the elementary school next door. The large preschools near here get almost $800 a month plus per kid BUT they have uneducated minimum wage employees watching them! I do agree that a school that teaches life values on top of basic education would be great! Thats why so many people home school now days I guess!

When i was in college a friend of mine and I did a camp - during summer.. since a lot of people have kids that have no where to go w/them during summers b/c of work - we were cheaper than daycare we provided lunch and we did activities all day with horses - had all age ranges from like 6 or 7 to 12 and 13yr -- lots of 4H'ers that wanted to learn during teh summer and practice... most of these kids had their own horses and so the parents would drop them off w/the horses in the morning.. we had room to board a few too so they didn't have to bring the horses every day on the trailer.. and we had a couple extra horses for the kids that didn't own horses so they got to ride and play all day too.. it was a lot of fun.. looks great on a resume and we were always full.. parents loved it cause kids were worn out every day lol but it wasn't a wasted day!
