Does anyone know of any that actually work? I just need little boosts for the final few hours of work.

Note: I've tried Rockstars, Monsters, and Amps.

I used to drink monsters, the 5-10 calorie ones. Loved them.
But now than I'm back on my health kick, and honestly those are not very good for you. I drink different kinds of teas, or a SPARK energy drink. But teas are a great source of caffiene, green teas with citrius are my fav.

Energy drinks are SO bad for you! Try drinking more water through out the day and maybe at like two eat a high protein snack. A lot of times lack of energy at the end of the day is due to dehydration and hunger. Your body needs a recharge and rather than filling yourself full of yucky chemicals give it what it really wants!

I work nights, and I'm ok up til about 6-6:30am. It's a crash like feeling. So I was just wondering if there was a quick pick me up for that time.

I drink SPARK By Advocare. Main ingredient is B12. All Natural. I love all the flavors. They're my saving grace in the afternoons.

Some people who drink a lot of sugary drinks and energy drinks don't see much difference after drinking a SPARK. But since all I drink is water and an occasional glass of unsweetened tea, I see lots of difference.

Good Luck

I sip on green and oolong tea (one bag of each)in the morning at work, peppermint and green in the afternoons, and that will usually get me through the rest of the day riding, checking cows, feeding horses ect

I worked as a groom at the racetrack and Ihonestly have no idea how I did it without coffee or tea. If Iwas tired at eevening races I would pound a red bull which usually lastedlong eenough to get me to the point of wrapping my horses. Lol

I am a bit of an energy drink aficionado (hence my title). At my old job we bought eachother energy drinks all the time, especially if we found sonething new. We worked weird hours and 12hr shifts so energy drinks were our lifeblood. I have found that pretty much all energy drinks are equal but Crunk is the one that gets me hyped the most. The key with ANY energy drink to make it work is to drink a TON of water before and after. Energy drinks actually dehydrate you, thus canceling out the rush from the caffeine, sugar, etc. By drinking the water, you'll get to ride that caffeine wave for a while and won't crash hard either.

I found that taking a Super B Complex vitamin works better than anything. I take one every morning and if its going to be a super hard day another one at noon.

Just taking the one in the morning gets rid of the afternoon slump I was experiencing.

I used to drink Bawls Guarana in the blue glass bottles when I worked a internet customer service job years ago.  It's very very caffinated so beware!  I don't drink energy drinks anymore because my body can't handle all the caffine.  But yes this will keep you awake..

I like the rootbeer bawls. We used to drink that at work. It led to some funny situations. "Jeff, I got your bawls in my purse."

I have never drank an energy drink.  Years ago I did read the ingredients.  I think it was a Red Bull.  IT was high in vitamin B's which are used to metabolize  carbohydrates into energy.  Also high in caffiene.  They high in caffiene to bump up the engery to keep going.  The long term problem with caffiene is that it is a dialator.  The blood vessels are kept dialated all the time if people drink hyge amounts of caffiene.  The blood vessels loose their elasticity and don't spring back to normal size.  The vessels loose their strength and cause strokes by broken blood vessels in the brain.  Long term damage!

If I do an energy drink it is half of a 5 hour energy. I have found that the Herbalife tea works really well for me too. I try to avoid caffeine but with waking up at 4 am every morning I find by about 1pm I am ready for go to sleep.

I LOVE Spark! I usually drink 2 or 3 cups of coffee to get me going in the morning and if I start feeling tired or sluggish, I only have to drink one glass of Spark and I'm good!
Spark doesn't have all the extra junk that energy drinks have and it doesn't take much to do the job.

IF I drink an energy drink, and its usually only a few times a year when I have a long drive (I tend to fall asleep bad), then I usually go for a monster. They have a new one in a white can, less sugar. It is yummy. And as far as amount of caffeine they are all about the same. I did find one Monster though that had like the maximum amount of caffeine you could consume in a day in it, haven't seen one in a long time. Now it kept you UP UP UP. I only ever had one and it was for my written exams for my Ph.D. I had to produce 3 ten page essays, fully researched, in 3 days. I think I slept a total of 8 hours over that entire 72. I did pass though. That drink was my savior.

I have a SPARK and 3 catalysts (which also sustains energy and helps keeps muscle tone) by Advocare every morning. It's not a typical "energy drink". It's a vitamin and amino acid supplement and has absolutely zero sugar in it. Every 8 fl oz contains 45 calories.... Plus it tastes really good. I like the fruit punch flavor best.

I drink a cup of regular coffee and a protein bar or snack and then go to my crossfit gym where I usually drink at least a liter of water or two. After the workout I grab another small cup of coffee with breakfast, go clean stalls and then get ready and head out to an 8 hour day at work.

Usually by noon I'm craving some coffee or energy, if I get coffee I get decaf, I know, what's the point? I just love the taste honestly and makes me think it will wake me up. Inbetween all that coffee I drink 3 x as much water throughout the day so I'm not dehydrated.

I have never done energy drinks but some protein shakes have helped. Also eating protein at work rather then breads will give me more energy.

You just have to find what works for you, I'm sure my coffee addiction isn't the healthiest but I know its better then some of those energy drinks

I like the Zeal fruit flavored little drinks and if you mix it with a Diet Mountain Dew its better than any Monster or Red bull. lol

I have a friend who is giving me some Plexus samples this weekend to try because I want more energy and I try to limit my caffiene intake. She says it is excellent for a boost in energy.

I like Spark or the white Monster! If you are into essential oils, I've heard that just keeping a bottle of peppermint around to take a whiff of when you get that drowsy feeling helps. Haven't tried it myself yet.
