Hope I haven't missed any recent threads...
Mine is still wooly, but I wanted to show her off anyway!
I was out of town all day Saturday, missed several calls and texts, finally had a chance to check on things, and this girl somehow flipped over the fence! She has a few marks, but nothing major. Poor baby. So thankful for observant neighbors, since none of us were home!

Let's see yours too!

Meg Weeks's photo.these are 3 of the 5 yearlings.  The colt way over on the left is Jr  which we are keeping back as a stud prospect.  Just love this guy all the way around :http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/jeans+costalot. The one in the middle facing forward is a speed/cow cross  http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/signature+jeans  and the filly on the right is  http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/slims+on+time

Can't wait for the hair to fly!!!!!!!!!!!

Here are the other 2, a filly and colt with Teehaha doing her mentoring and keeping them lined out :)  When they are all turned out I have to either count socks or look at the white on their faces to tell them apart LOL

I need to get up to date pictures of my yearling.  I took the curry comb to her last night and got tons of hair off with lots more needing to shed.  Spring must be here, nice to see.

Fun to see all the babies growing up! Wish mine was still fluffy and round like the rest! She's a May baby, but she looks leggier and less muscled than the others? Guess they're all different...

From this picture she looks at a healthy weight. I have two yearlings. One is much taller and looks lankier than the other. Kind of like kids. They're all individuals ;)

What about from the side shot (first pic in the thread)? That one was taken just the other day. I never thought she looked skinny, she's not ribby, but she definitely doesn't look like some of the tanks on here! lol! Thanks for your input!

I think she looks healthy. Looks like she has good cover over her back and rump. She doesn't look 'peaked' or pot gutted. Her hair looks like end-of-winter hair, not long nasty needs-wormed-and-fed hair.

Not that I'm any expert but I think she looks as healthy as any other yearling I've seen.  Mine looks like a pot bellied pig most days. She looks very kind. I love her expression.

Mine is officially a year old today. And he had a blue baby brother born this morning.

 photo 08B9E65D-E442-4726-83AA-8DAD835D4B93_zpstiz9nlln.jpg

We've started desensitizing him to ropes and will be working on trailer loading and unloading soon so that he can begin to go see the sights and learn to hang out at ropings and barrel races before I even break him out next year. He's a little Snorty but hasn't refused anything. Super smart little dude and built like a brick s*** house :)

He's all foundation bred, some Hancock/Blue Valentine, Driftwood, Cee Booger Red, Regers He Might, Goldfingers, little bit of Native Dancer, Top Deck and Harlan way back.
Not sure how tall he is right now, but he's not real tall. Probably will be right at 15hh at maturity.

The palomino is shedding SO BAD right now!! She really does have long hair. Her summer coat is coming in darker <3 <3 <3 I can't wait to see it.

And the bay was a wooly mammoth since like, October. He's finally shedding out too!

Thank you ! He was bred by Sunny C Ranch, Seis Guy is from Clearwater QHs and the sorrel I raised out of my first barrel horse. I am pretty excited about them ! Those are terrible conformation pics but the only recent ones I have :)
