Psalm 55:22 cast your burden on The Lord, and He shall sustain you; He will never permit the righteous to be moved.
Betrayal by a close friend or family member is one of the deepest hurts of life. David was dealing with it in Psalm 55 . he seems to be speaking of the situation with his son Absaloms rebellion and his adviser Ahithopels treacherous actions.
David gives formula for response when we are betrayed by those close to us
Let God be the God of judgement, this is not our role .v 16 As for me , I will call upon God, and The Lord shall save me.
Be a prayerful person v 17 evening, morning, and noon I will pray, and cry aloud, and He shall hear my voice.
Learn from deception v21 The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart; his words were softer than oil , yet they were drawn swords.
Cast your burden on The Lord v 22 He promises to sustain us
No matter what man may do to us, we have a Friend who sticks closer to a brother Proverbs 18:24 Draw near to Him and seek to be a faithful friend to others,
Father guide me today to do all things to always bring glory and honor to you AMEN
